City View Independent School District Police Department

Mission Statement

The City View ISD Police Department shall provide a safe learning environment for all students and staff, minimize the disruption to the learning process and establish prevention measures in order to safeguard life and property and reduce crime. Commitment to the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and provide district employees with ethical leadership. Fostering open communications, teamwork, and relationship development with students, staff, administrators, parents, community resources, and local law enforcement. 

The City View ISD Police Department was launched on August 14, 2020, after satisfying all requirements set forth by TCOLE, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. The department is staffed by Chief of Police Kyle Collier, and Officer Matthew England.  CVISD officers have a combined 45 years of police experience. We have implemented community based policing to the elementary and secondary campuses. The definition for this being proactively engaged with the student body. It is linked with the COPPS initiative Community Policing Self-Assessment Tool/Problem Solving.
