If you are a pastor click here to RSVP, or share this link with a pastor you know and invite them to join us!
Pastors support the spiritual growth of our staff, students and parents. Our goal is to offer pastors a glimpse into the impact of their support, give them an opportunity to experience our school culture first hand and inspire ways we can continue to partner together to support this unique community.
Doors open at 9:30 am with breakfast being served at 10:00 am. The program includes a tour of the Poplar campus and Fairmount Campus (transportation provided between locations).
The Middle School Autumn Dance will take place on Friday, October 3rd! It will be an evening of music, fun, food, and dancing!
Please click to read guidelines on our health + wellness procedures as well as administering medication on campus.
Don’t forget your medical forms! These forms include medical history, immunization record, physical and dental exams. The State of Pennsylvania requires all children entering school to be up-to-date with their immunizations. Students who are not in compliance with the state requirements will not be permitted to enter The City School until their health requirements are up-to-date.
(COVID-19 Vaccinations are NOT required at this time.)
Any student needing medication on campus must have medication accompanied with the following:
An action plan from the student's doctor.
Medication must be labeled by the pharmacy.
Medication must be brought to campus by the parent/guardian. Students are not permitted to deliver medication to the office.
Links to forms that need to be completed:
Student Emergency/Medical Information (also gives permission for student to receive Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) if desired.)
Medication Administration At School (Action Plan)
Here are a few reminders to support your student and the TCS community in health and wellness. As you are caring for your student at home, The City School remains committed to cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and high-traffic areas throughout the school day.
Masks remain optional, but should be considered during cold and flu season to reduce transmission.
Stay home when sick. Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 should still take the following precautions:
Stay home if you have symptoms and remain home until are symptom-free and fever-free for at least 24 hours (without medication).
Wear a well-fitted mask for 5 days after their return to school.
Parents/guardians should notify the school or school nurse if their child tests positive for COVID-19 or is diagnosed with any contagious illness.
Please also continue to conduct a pre-screening with your student at home each morning before they arrive to school. Use this tool to conduct the screening.
Wash hands frequently. Hands should be washed several times a day, for no less than 20 seconds (singing the Happy Birthday song twice).
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, especially when someone is sick.
Cover your mouth/nose with a tissue when you cough, then throw the tissue away. Cough into your elbows, if necessary.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Be prepared at home with over-the-counter medications to reduce fever and pain.
Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.
Pray. While there are practical steps we must take, we also know that God is in control. Let us continue to thank him for his faithfulness, as we continue to depend upon him for guidance and wisdom.
