K9 Tara and Sergeant Cheney

K9 Tara is a 9 Year old Dutch Shepard, Belgian Malinois mix. Tara was born in the Netherlands, and was imported to the United States by Left Coast K9. K9 Tara had a litter of puppies before she started her career in Law Enforcement. K9 Tara's babies and grand babies are currently serving several different Law Enforcement Agencies around Northern California.

K9 Tara is trained and certified for Patrol, and Narcotics enforcement. In addition to her regular patrol duties, K9 Tara and Sergeant Cheney are also assigned to the SWAT team as another tool to keep the citizens of South Lake Tahoe safe.

In addition to being a patrol supervisor, Sergeant Cheney is also assigned as the supervisor of the K9 Teams as well as SWAT.
