Road closure: City of Clemson Christmas Parade Road Closure Notice

Parade Date: Tuesday, December 5th

Rain Date: Thursday, December 7th

NEW! On street parking and access from College Ave to  McHugh Lane will be blocked beginning 3pm December 5th.  Vehicles parked on McHugh Lane will be towed beginning at 4pm.  Exit to Edgewood will be left open from 3pm-4pm.

Road closure on College Avenue to Keith Street will occur at 4:30pm, access will be blocked between College Avenue and all side streets, including North Clemson Avenue, Sloan Street and Keith Street. Please note: all vehicles on College Avenue and McHugh Lane must be moved by 4pm or they will be towed to clear the road way.

o Additional road closures will begin at 4:45 p.m. in the following location:

 93 northbound and southbound closed between Cherry Road and Williamson Road.

o Final road closures will begin at 5:50 p.m. in the following locations:

 College Avenue closed between Keith Street and McHugh Ln.

 The traffic arm on Calhoun Drive, at Brackett Hall, will remain activated until after the parade to deter motorists from traveling toward barricaded areas.

o Those parked in the Sikes Hall area will be directed to exit via Parkway Drive onto Cherry Road, at the President’s Home.

o All barricades will remain in place until the conclusion of the parade around 8 p.m.
