A little bit about my style:

  • I value genuine connections with students, families, and staff.

  • I believe that every student has the right to feel safe, supported, and that they belong. Every student will be treated with respect and integrity.

  • Together, we will work to find creative solutions and resources that support each student & family on their unique journey.

About Rachel

Rachel graduated with her undergraduate degree from Philadelphia’s Temple University with a double major in Sociology and Advertising/Communications and she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University with a specialized focus in Immigration and Border Issues.

Rachel is passionate about local community efforts and working for social justice. Her experience in education ranges in teaching the subjects of Health, Art, Gardening, English as a Second Language, and Special Education; she has also spent time working in the realms of case management and intervention services. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.
