Information and Resources

Thank you to everyone who completed their health information and submitted required forms through Magnus. The deadline for doing so was August 15; please submit this information as soon as possible if you have not already done so. To access your Magnus Health account, log into our Online Community and click the link under “Resources” titled “C&C Health Services.” Once on the Health Services page, scroll down and click on the Magnus Health logo under “Access Magnus Health,” and you will automatically be logged in. For step-by-step details on how to access your Magnus Health SMR Account, please refer to this document. All students must submit health forms prior to the first day of school.

C&C uses the Magnus app to screen all students for COVID-19 symptoms. The screenings must be completed each morning before the student enters the building for the day.

COVID testing must be completed 72–96 hours before entering the School. As a reminder, no students, faculty, or staff members will be allowed to return to in-person school or work without documentation of a negative test within this window. This timeline contains testing dates for students by Group. The information is also available on the C&C Reopening Plan website.

Currently, there are several options available for testing.

1. Medical Office of Dr. Bradley A. Connor

   • In-person, appointment needed

   • Midtown office (110 E. 55th St, 16th floor) run by Dr. Connor

   • Contact Nurse Cara (caras@cityandcountry.org) by Thursday, August 27 to choose this option; appointment times will be reserved for C&C families, faculty, and staff

   • 24 hour turnaround time for results

2. Vault

   • Saliva-based test kit, sent to you by mail

   • A video-based appointment is needed to collect a supervised sample

   • The sample is returned via expedited shipping

   • Test results within 48-72 hours of arrival at the lab

3. Your child’s pediatrician or alternative testing site

   • There are many testing sites around the City offering free testing

   • Please confirm turnaround times for test results to ensure they will arrive within the required time frame

   • Please confirm that it is an FDA-approved test

Families should verify health insurance coverage prior to testing at their chosen location and submit bills for testing services to their health insurance providers. C&C will reimburse standard testing expenses not covered by families’ health insurance. Please note, documentation showing that the testing cost has been submitted to insurance, as well as the response from the insurance company, will be required for reimbursement by C&C. We know it can be difficult to keep up with emails from school. Fortunately, all the messages sent to families by teachers are now archived in Google Groups. To access these emails, please follow the instructions here.

Dr. Suzanne Rein, PsyD. provides support to Vs–VIIs. While she is on maternity leave in September and October, please contact Director of Lower School Jane Clarke at janec@cityandcountry.org to schedule an appointment with C&C's previous Lower School Psychologist, Liz Tingley, who will be working with us again during this time.
