HRT Blood Drive

CIT hosted its first blood drive of the school year on 9/11/19 with 75 students registered to donate.

These awesome students have helped to replenish the shelves of Miller Keystone Blood Center at a time when they are critically low.

30 students are rescheduled to donate next week due to some computer issues that caused some delays...even with those delays, the truck left CIT with 44 viable units of blood!

6 Health Related Students volunteered during the drive both in the canteen and donor aid positions and Samirra Elminawi, Easton HS 12th grade, is the Blood Drive Captain at CIT this school year.

Each spring, Miller Keystone Blood Center recognizes students who have donated blood or volunteered in at least 4 drives during their high school career with green cords for graduation. Last year, there were 32 seniors who met this requirement.
