The CNY Innovators Showcase is a chance for students to create new products or services and share their ideas with professionals, kind of like the TV show “Shark Tank.” This event is for students in grades 6-10 who live in Oswego County. Students will present their ideas on Friday, April 10th at SUNY Oswego to industry professionals!
Challenge: Design a solution around the human impact on water.
Your team will come up with a solution to the challenge, and you will share your idea in a science-fair style, where judges will visit your group and ask questions.
Mentors
Student teams will need a mentor, like a teacher or a parent, to support them with their challenge. Mentors will accompany (along with their school chaperone) student teams to the event. SUNY Oswego will have professional mentors that can help teams too. Please fill out the google form to request a mentor from SUNY Oswego.
STEAM Challenge
On the day of the CNY Innovators Showcase, you will work with other students from different schools, in a STEAM Challenge. This will help you learn how to work with other people.
