About Our Teacher

Hello, families! My name is Christian Lee, and I am delighted to be part of the Queen of Angels community and to teach Grade 5/6 this year. I am a BC-certified teacher with a master’s degree in education. My experience spans a variety of elementary settings, including homeroom teaching, Montessori education, and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. I have also had the opportunity to serve in curriculum and school leadership roles.

I have taught in Canada and abroad, and have lived and worked in South Korea and China. I continue to value opportunities to travel and experience different places and cultures.

Outside school, family is at the centre of my life. I am married and have two children, along with a newly adopted dog who is already very much part of the family. Much of my time away from school is spent with them—exploring outdoors, travelling, cooking, gardening, reading, or simply enjoying time together.

I am an enthusiastic reader with a particular interest in history, mythology, and philosophy.

As a teacher, I hope to help students become curious, thoughtful, confident, compassionate, and increasingly independent learners. I want our classroom to be a place where students feel they belong, questions are welcomed, mistakes are treated as opportunities to learn, and everyone is encouraged to contribute positively to our community.
