Guest Speaker - Chris Green

Chris Green

Chris Green was born in South Africa, raised in Australia, and excelled in both cricket and tennis as a junior, but decided to ply his trade in cricket.  He attended Knox Grammar School on Sydney's North Shore.

He has a fine pedigree in the shortest format  of the game, playing in most of the world's leading T20 tournaments. The off-spinner and middle order batsman made his Limited Overs debut for the Blues during the 2014/15 Matador BBQ's One Day Cup.

The all-rounder is a Sydney Thunder fan favourite and highly sought-after player for any T20 team around the world. He has plenty of big game experience featuring in the Big Bash League, the Indian Premier League, the Caribbean Premier League and the Vitality Blast.

He was named captain of the Sydney Thunder in the recent men's Big Bash League season and has gone on to represent Australia in cricket's 20-over format.

Also the current NSW Sheffield Shield Player of the Year, Green is gearing up for the national Limited-Overs cup final with the NSW Men's team this weekend.
