I have been teaching secondary school Visual Art for 19 years. I studied BA Fine Art and MA Fine Art degrees at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. I majored in sculpture and took minors in painting, photography, art history and art criticism. I try to focus on a broad variety of artists from different cultures and genders in my classroom.

In addition to my career in arts education, I am an avid scuba diver, greatly concerned about humanities impact on marine life. I have my PADI Divemaster qualification and some wonderful experiences that I would be happy to share.
