This year's PYPx T-shirt, collaboratively designed by the Grade 5 students, is based on Isu's original concept and design features from several classmates, embodying the ideas and suggestions of the entire class. Key design elements include:
UNSDG color-themed hands supporting the world, integrated with the CIS logo, representing our global commitment
waves that echo our class song ("like a small boat on the ocean, sending big waves into motion"), symbolizing the impact of our efforts
a tree with expansive roots and branches, illustrating "growth" and how diverse student passions unite us as one community.
We also created 3D wire sculptures to represent our passions. Through this process, we honed our research skills by gathering and observing relevant information on sculpture techniques, which enhanced our understanding of art. We applied our thinking skills to problem-solve as we tackled challenges like maintaining balance and proportion in our sculptures. Finally, we strengthened our self-management skills, organizing our work and persevering through setbacks to bring our visions to life. This project was not just an exercise in artistic expression but a comprehensive development of our practical abilities.

As part of our introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI), we experimented with generating digital self-portraits of ourselves engaged in our passions. Throughout this process, we learned the science and art of "prompt engineering," carefully selecting precise descriptive words to guide AI in creating accurate representations. By reflecting on and adjusting our prompts, we developed a deeper understanding of how language shapes digital creation. From there, we explored the ethical use of AI, discussing its responsible application in creating digital media and conducting research. Take a look at some of our creations!
