Lance King

Lance King is an internationally recognized author, teacher, and workshop facilitator with 30 years of experience in both the secondary and tertiary sectors. He is the creator of the Art of Learning program, presently delivered in thirteen countries.

Within the International Baccalaureate (IB), Lance was the principal architect of the reformulated Approaches To Learning (ATL) curriculum, currently being implemented in over 4000 IB schools in 150 countries. He also worked on the development of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Next Chapter, Diploma Programme (DP), and the Career-Related Certificate (IBCC).

Lance is married with four grown-up children. He lives in Raglan, New Zealand, and divides his time between delivering workshops around the world and writing. His six books on teaching and learning 21st century skills have now been translated into both Chinese and French.
