Student Work

A semester-long project based learning unit exploring how economic growth and sustainability can co-exist. Students used knowledge and skills traditionally found in Physics, Geography, and Economics to learn about current issues surrounding renewable energy and electric vehicles, and to produce a six-minute film highlighting key takeaways and various perspectives.

Hangzhou 10 (2022-2023)

For this year, the maximum film length was extended from 3 to 6 minutes (to allow for greater exploration of the plot and themes). In addition, maximum team size was expanded from 2 to 5 to allow for more specialization in roles like lighting, sound, editing, animating, etc.
