Welcome to the Coláiste Iósaef Community College Digital Learning Hub.
This site was developed in response to mandated school closures as a result of Covid-19. It is created with the intention to inform students and parents/guardians about the options available regarding Remote Learning.
Terms like Google Classroom, email submissions and online resources will still play an important part in the day to day operation of the school and in our learning and teaching.
This site will be updated as required and if you feel that other areas should be addressed on the site, please feel free to contact principal@cik.ie with any suggestions.
Google Workspace
In Coláiste Iósaef we use Google Workspace This is now the name for G Suite The name was changed in October 2020. Google Workspace is a suite of tools and services designed to empower educators and students as they learn and innovate together. It has a huge range of features to support learning and as a school we use many of these. The main ones are Google Classroom, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Meet.

G Suite Enterprise for Education
In November 2020, the school invested in the upgrade to G Suite Enterprise for Education. This upgrade includes all Workspace for Education features plus premium tools for security, data control, teaching, and communication.
This is available to all students and school staff since November 2020.
