Hugo Guadalupe Reyna Castañeda
I completed my B.Sc. in Actuarial Science and my B.Sc. in Mathematics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM, in Mexico.
I'm a teaching assistant in Facultad de Ciencias at UNAM and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in mathematical sciences at UNAM.
My research interests lie at the intersection of functional analysis, probability, and variational methods for partial differential equations. I study probabilistic structures in Hilbert spaces, optimal stopping and free boundary problems, and analytic approaches to stochastic evolution equations. I am also interested in the spectral and operator-theoretic analysis of quantum walks.
