Carlos Cruz-Diez is one of the great protagonists of contemporary art. His work and writings place him as the last great color thinker of the 20th century. His work has brought to art a new form of knowledge of the chromatic phenomenon, considerably broadening its perceptive universe.

Fernando Botero Angulo is a Colombian figurative artist and sculptor, born in Medellín. His signature style, also known as "Boterismo", depicts people and figures in large, exaggerated volume, which can represent political criticism or humor, depending on the piece.
