📢 Official Results Released

The official evaluation results are now available.

We encourage all participating teams to prepare their Working Notes and submit them before the submission deadline on May 25, 2026.

Results

All submissions were evaluated independently under the official evaluation protocol of the shared task. Rankings are reported at the team level, considering the best-performing run submitted by each team for each subtask.

The task consisted of the following subtasks:

• MSLG2SPA: Translation from Mexican Sign Language (MSL) glosses into Spanish.

• SPA2MSLG: Translation from Spanish into Mexican Sign Language (MSL) glosses.

Evaluation metrics included BLEU, METEOR, chrF, and COMET (for MSLG2SPA). Final rankings were computed using the official normalized Task Score described in the overview paper.

The following information will be made publicly available:

• Links to system description papers submitted by each team in the IberLEF 2026 Working Notes.

• Summary of approaches and key findings, highlighting methodological trends and performance insights across teams.
