MA obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Madras, Chennai, in January 2016. After that, MA moved to the University of Hyderabad to do his Post-Doctoral research with Prof. R. Chandrasekar in the School of Chemistry. Before joining IITH, he started his independent research career in the Department of Chemical Sciences at IISER Kolkata as a DST INSPIRE Faculty member in September 2022.
The primary research interest lies in organic/inorganic materials, Single particle photonic studies, Optoelectronic devices, Flexible crystal-based organic photonic integrated circuits, Smart materials for multifunctional applications, Carbon dots, and Plasmonic nanoparticles for sensor and bio-imaging applications.
