The MetroHealth School Health Program is coming to Canterbury. They can see your child for a check up, needed school immunizations, flu shots, prescription refills, help managing chronic illness like asthma, referrals to specialists. There is no charge. To schedule an appointment or with any questions email SHPschedule@metrohealth.org , call or text Ms. Niese at 216-339-0242.
This program is for everyone- whether you have insurance or not- and is used by most families in addition to their regular pediatrician. Guardians don’t need to leave work to attend appointments and there is never any cost to families! The mobile unit will be at Canterbury every month during the school year, but you can also access the doctors in the new Heights Wellness Center in the high school on any Tuesday or Friday of the school year.
Tech support: If you have a chromebook issue which needs to be resolved, please have your child take the chromebook to Mrs. Wilson in the library. If your child still has an old model chromebook and needs to upgrade to a new one, please go to the DeLisle Center and exchange for a new one. This is free of charge. If your child's chromebook seems to not be charging, please have your child bring the chromebook AND CHARGER to Mrs. Wilson. The charger may need to be replaced (usually at no cost to you).
Please consider completing Canterbury's Family Directory so families can interact with each other.
