The Cleveland Heights - University Heights City School District is pleased to announce programming for summer 2019. Please browse the available programs for elementary, middle and high school students listed below and use the registration links to sign up for the desired program. Additional summer program options available through our local community partners can also be found at the bottom of this page.

Elementary School Programs

Camp Invention

Camps will be held at Boulevard Elementary, for CH-UH students in Grades 3-5.

3rd Grade Reading Camp

Camp will be held at Gearity Elementary. Students are selected by their building principal, based on their assessment scores. For more information contact Katrina Hicks at K_Hicks@chuh.org.

School Readiness Camps

Camps will be held at Boulevard Elementary from July 22- August 8 Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 am-11:30 am. These camps help CH-UH students going into grades K, 1 or 2 get ready for a great start to the school year!

Reading Counts EL Camp

Camp will be held at Noble Elementary, for students in grade K-8. The camp will run Mondays-Thursdays between June 17-July 11. Technology and small group instruction will be used to help students improve their English/reading skills and meet summer reading requirements. Details about camp hours will be available soon. Middle School Programs

Explore Your Future

Program will be held at CHHS June 4-7 from 8-11 am or noon-3 pm and is geared for exploring career pathways for incoming 6-8th graders. Cost is $20 per session for supplies.

Algebra Bridge

Program will be held at CHHS July 15-August 8 from 8:30-1:00 pm and is geared towards accelerating students from 7th grade Math to 8th or 9th grade Algebra 1.

Summer Middle School

Program will be held at CHHS from June 10-July 11 from 8:30-10:45 am and 11:00-1:15 pm. Cost is $100 per course with a maximum of $200.

High School Programs

AP Success Camp

Program will be held at CHHS June 3-6 from 10:00 am-noon and is geared at preparing students for success in their upcoming AP course(s).

Summer High School

Program will be held at CHHS June 10- July 18 and is geared towards students needing to earn credit for high school graduation. Cost is $100 per course with a maximum of $200. Students can take OST's July 15-24 to earn required high school graduation points.
