Ally Week
Held in September, Ally Week (sponsored by GLSEN) is the springboard to encourage all of us to act as allies to LGBTQ+ students in our school
No Name-Calling Week
This GLSEN sponsored event is a week organized by K-12 educators and students to end name-calling and bullying in schools
Day of Silence
This third GLSEN sponsored event brings awareness to the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ+ name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Students take a vow of silence to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBTQ+ behavior
PRIDEWORKS conference
Held in March, this is an annual conference for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. There is a keynote speaker and opportunities to take multiple workshops on LGBTQ+ themes
