About Ms. Zantay:
Jazz Zantay teaches Concert Band and Jazz Band, as well as 4th Grade Band and 5th Grade General Music. She comes from a long line of musicians (her father is a jazz musician and band teacher- thus her name!). She graduated summa cum laude from Manhattanville College with her B.A. in Flute Performance, with an Art History minor, and Masters in Music Education. During her undergraduate time there, she won the annual Manhattanville Concerto Competition. Ms. Zantay has performed in renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space, as well as venues throughout Austria. Currently, Ms. Zantay performs with thethe Hudson Valley Wind Ensemble. In addition to performing, Ms. Zantay also maintains an active private flute studio.
