Ian Gallagher graduated from SUNY New Paltz with his Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education Birth - Sixth Grade. This is his fourth year in the district as a classroom teacher. He has previously worked at Pierre Van Cortlandt as a fifth and sixth grade Math and Science teacher.

He has also coached the boy's Croton Varsity Lacrosse, Varsity Track, Modified Basketball teams and he is the advisor for the PVC Ski Club.

When outside of school, Mr. Gallagher loves spending his time exploring the world around him. Some of his favorite activities include hiking, skiing, kayaking, soccer, and spending time with his family.
