About the Teacher

Hello everyone! 

My name is Lauren Doherty and this will be my 6th year here at PVC teaching 5th grade math. This will be my 20th year teaching and I am professionally certified in Elementary Education, grades 1-6. I graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and mathematics. I also received my master's degree from Manhattanville College, with a focus in special education and literacy. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I also enjoy cooking, sewing, swimming, and spending time outdoors.
