Photos for Class: A large collection of high-quality, creative commons photographs. Click "download" to access your image along with an automatically-generated citation.
Other helpful photography/art websites:
Unsplash: A large database of high-quality, royalty-free photographs.
Pexels: An easily-searchable, large repository of high-quality, royalty-free photographs.
Pixabay: Offers over 800,000 photographs that are free for use. Videos, graphics, and illustrations are also available.
StockSnap: A database of royalty-free photographs with a very user-friendly search system.
Flickr: An enormous database of over 10 million photos.
Google Arts and Culture: The "Explore" tab allows you to browse by topic, medium, time, artist, and more. A search feature is available in the top righthand corner.
Colossal: Offers contemporary art pieces and relevant resources including articles, interviews, etc. A wide variety of contemporary art (including photography, sculptures, prints, animations, and drawings) are included.

Museum Art Exhibits: Many contemporary issues and historical events are represented in museums, archives, and other cultural heritage institution. You may be able to find helpful images on their websites.
Try Googling your topic followed by "museum," "archive," or "art exhibit" to find a museum for your topic and then browse the website. Ms. Anderson can also help.
Print Resources: The library has lots of great books that you can use. Due to copyright laws, many of the resources you find in books may not be available online. Search the catalog to browse our collection.
