Whether you know it or not, you are always involved in research. Whether it is planning a party or working on a school project, you will: define your task, identify information needed and where to find it, gather and organize information, and put your information together and use it. Most likely, you will assess your progress and what revisions you need to make as you go along. In the end you, or other participants if they are involved, will judge if you were successful in what you set out to do. That, in a nutshell, is the research process.
