How will I be assessed?
What exams will I have?
-A 30 minute listening and a 2 minute speaking exam (which will involve some general conversation on the topics covered this year) These will both take place in class time in the weeks beginning 6th and 13th May. The exact dates will be confirmed in class after the Easter holidays.
-A 1 hour reading and writing exam

How should I revise?
Your books are your starting point. Your teachers work extremely hard to make sure you have everything you need at your fingertips.
Go through all your exercise books - read feedback and look at self-reflection. Look at previous assessments & prior preparation too - where could you improve next time?
TEST YOURSELF - do NOT use passive revision techniques such as reading notes or highlighting random pieces of information. You MUST employ active recall techniques. Ask your teacher to help you, or ...

Not feeling prepared for your speaking assessment? Be proactive. Ask someone else in the class to practise with you. Ask a parent or relative to ask you the questions- they do not need to speak Italian to be able to do this.
