CHS is very fortunate to be surrounded by acres Green Belt and able to enable physical education and provide extensive outdoor space for pupils to play. The School’s grounds include seven grass pitches, one all-weather pitch, one 3G pitch, four courts, and three acres of statement lawns and gardens.
For pupil play space there are also two Adventure playgrounds in the Pre-School and Infant Play spaces which have artificial grass carpets and sheltered areas to encourage outdoor activities. The Senior School has dedicated grass and hard surface play spaces.
