InvestIN: Looking to build experience to make your university application stand out?
Gaining relevant experience beyond the classroom is essential for crafting a strong university application. You’ll need to demonstrate key skills and experiences that align with your chosen course, whilst also clearly articulating your motivations behind your choice. If you're seeking opportunities to build this experience over the summer, InvestIN programmes offer a fantastic way to gain hands-on exposure in your chosen field.
By joining an InvestIN programme, you’ll meet industry professionals, visit leading companies and gain practical experience that helps you develop key skills and a clearer understanding of your career goals. This real-world experience will enable you to clearly demonstrate how your interests and motivations align with your chosen course when applying to university.
Additionally, completing an InvestIN programme earns you a Level 3 Qualification in Work Experience & Career Planning, which adds 8 UCAS points to your application.

Can you help with work placements for our current pupils?
Throughout the year our students are keen to secure work experience to explore different career paths. We would love to offer opportunities to work alongside alumni and parents. As an employer, you can give support, guidance and insight about how your business or industry functions and impart the passion you have for your work. Our students are talented and capable individuals who could be given the opportunity to support your business in a particular area of need, or be given a small and exciting project to investigate and report on. If you, or your company, could offer a work experience placement please complete our expression of interest form.
