Meet the Team

Megan Kranenburg, PT, DPT, WCS

Megan Kranenburg holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Portland, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University, and is the only nationally board-certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health (Pelvic Health) Physical Therapy serving the greater Kitsap region. She is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as an engineering officer stateside, overseas and in the combat theater.

Megan's mission to improve Fourth Trimester care is a result of her career observing the impact of childbirth on the long-term health (physical and mental) of her outpatient PT clients. For five years, she also served as a Birth Doula and was able to see first-hand how simple it can be to change the course of care when the right professional is present at the right time.

Kimberly Cleary, PT, PhD

Kimberly Cleary joined the faculty of EWU in the fall of 2006, after teaching at another DPT program in the Northwest for several years. She earned her bachelor of arts in cultural anthropology magna cum laude at the University of California at Santa Barbara, master of physical therapy at Chapman University in Orange, Calif., and doctorate in social and administrative sciences at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

She teaches the clinical anatomy course series, screening for medical referral, and the clinical research courses. She has practiced in several clinical areas, with particular interests in wellness, prevention and health promotion. She has published and presented her research findings on topics like quality of life, especially in older adults with and without disease, fall risk in community-dwelling elderly and factors influencing patients’ participation in exercise.
