The Library Discovery search facility allows you to keep track of all your research. You can create projects to keep topics together, you can save search criteria and much more. This quick guide will take you through the functions of the dashboard page.
If you are completely new to using Library Discovery or you just need a reminder, here is a helpful video on conducting basic searches. There's a very short video (under 3 minutes!) that will get you started.

The Concept Map is a really useful tool to help you narrow your searching down and to help you to build search terms. It is also a helpful way for more visual learners to use Library Discovery and you can see how ideas and concepts are linked. There is a short video on how to use the Concept Map here:
This is a longer video (20 minutes) but is really worth watching. There is a bit of information about the development of the concept map, but if you skip 4 minutes into the video, it'll get down to the nitty gritty of searching.
Let Library Discovery do some of the searching for you and set up a search alert. This is useful if you are looking for new articles published on a particular subject or topic. You'll get an alert whenever something new becomes available.
