The weekly meetings are the platform where all the moderators' ideate, communicate, connect, and engage in meaningful discussions on various aspects of life and leadership as well as the working of the Leadership Chair. Three meetings are held in a week with different purposes, they are on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Currently, due to the pandemic, we have been conducting all these meetings online. On all the three meetings the Leadership chair's code of conduct is strictly followed so that everyone present there feels, respected, validated, comfortable and a mutual standard is set to follow for all to follow.
Friday meetings are the most awaited meetings by the young leaders. These meetings are led and moderated by our external consultant Col. Ranjeev K Babu along with our senior moderators, Mr. Samuel George, and Mrs. Rashi Rutherkumar Kadabur. This meeting particularly concentrates on the personal and interpersonal development of the young leaders. Topics like self-love, habit, time management, and many more are discussed. Young leaders are also encouraged to conduct the meeting on the topic of their choice. Attendees are free to express their opinions and experiences without the fear of being judged. Usually, the Friday meetings are for two hours and we abide by the given time. In case there are inevitable situations to extend the meetings then it might get exceeded by a maximum of 5-10 minutes to finish the discussion going on and then it would be carried out in the WhatsApp group so that nobody leaves unanswered. Now the students are the ones who take the initiative to meet every week as part of the Leadership Friday rhythms of connect
A research-based initiative of leadership training exclusively for PG Students every Thursday with specific monthly Themes and Outcome-Driven Approach.
The chair recently came up with the distinctive sessions for postgraduate students, as students in the post graduate years need to add on to the pool of skills. The sessions conducted encourage peer learning. Each of us at the Praveen Kenneth chair of Leadership have had distinctive experiences throughout our lives, and have varying strengths. We try to leverage these strengths and share them with our fellow PKCLites. The sessions are highly interactive and engaging as we learn best in a fun and supportive way. We believe sharing our knowledge, stories and experiences offer great insight for others. Along the way, the interactive nature of the sessions also help the presenter or facilitator to learn an add-on from what others experiences have been. The team have their regular checkins on Thursdays.
