Christ - In and Out

This was the second Webinar conducted by the students. This webinar was completely conducted by the students themselves for students i.e. exclusively first years with the sole purpose to encourage them to identify their latent leader in them and to help build their leadership skill. The webinar was conducted on the 8th of August from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, in an online platform.

The 1st year students joined the University during the lockdown year and the webinar was mainly to help these students navigate through University life, campus life as they nad not yet been exposed to it due to the lock down. The webinar gave a brief description of what the Leadership Chair was about and how they could join the Chair, and become part of the initiatives of the chair.0 The webinar had a great response with the influx of many 1st years wanting join the Praveen Kenneth Chair on Leadership. Young leaders (Mostly from Second and Third years) shared stories about their experiences of campus with the new joiners (1st years).

Some of the topics which were discussed in this webinar include 'How to Not Waste Your First Year', 'Individuality', 'Rule Yourself', and many more. We had six speakers, Hannah Jacob, Mehak Jain, Nishitha Prakash, Shashwat Chauhan, Sudhakar Kumar, Thomas Alex. These speakers are the current student moderators from across different departments in Christ University. We had approximately 116 attendees for the webinar.
