The event Aarohan 2022-23 was organised by the Young Leader Volunteers of the Praveen Kenneth Chair on Leadership as part of a week-long Leadership Fest. Aarohan was a week-long fest from the 23rd- the 30th of August 2022.
The event consisted of quizzes, debates, and lots of performances from 23rd august to 27th august 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On the 29th of August 2022, finals of the quiz and debate were held at the KE Auditorium from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The events concluded on the 30th of August 2022 with the Leadership Speech from Mr. Ashok Gopinathan.
The event Aarohan emerged to bring our leadership into action. The vision of this event was to initiate and facilitate leadership engagement and leadership conversation with students and the goal was to initiate leadership practice among Christites. It was specially organized for Freshers and other Christites. The activities were open to all christites pursuing UG in the Central campus.
This event was promoted through the flash mob on 18-8-2022 and stall on 20-8-2022. We had commendable registrations and participation for both quiz and debates. After a rigorous competition throughout the week, a leadership talk helped us to enhance our leadership skills. The highlights of the event were the whole team’s commitment, the judges’ support and of course, the leadership talk by Mr. Ashok had an immense contribution to making this event successful.
The event was a success in reaching its vision and goal. This event helped us all to exhibit our leadership skills and increase our potential. Experience of working in teams, team building, time management, coordinating, planning, delegation, responsibility and accountability, and many more learnings for life have been taken from this event.
