Day One
The resource person was Mr. Anand Pillai, Managing Director of Leadership Matters, Inc, who has rich experiences from working with various other companies such as Reliance, HCL Technologies, Tata Group, etc. He has also been featured in books like “Leading with Wisdom” and “Open Source Leader”.
Day Two
Started with Mr. Jacob Isaac, Founder and Director, Turn Consulting and Coaching, has extensive experience in training and coaching for over 25 years, facilitating participants through the Self – Discovery process by use of the DISC assessment tool.
Day Three
Mr. Sanjay who is Head Of Projects, Government Policy Of India, Indonesian Think Tank And An Independent Strategy Consultant in the morning session; followed by
Mr. Syed Sultan who is the Managing Director of LXL Ideas, educator, entrepreneur, film producer, publisher, event manager, took a session on his innovative cutting edge leadership in influencing the young minds through short films which instill moral values to children, parents, and teachers; and Finally
3. Mr. Ullhas Supatkar who is an expert in talent development, Sr. Leadership coach, and an OD professional. His sessions were focused on Diversity and communication.

To help motivate oneself and their teams by understanding each other through conversations
Tony Sam George, Mentor for Leadership Chair began by giving a brief introduction of the seminar and elaborated on the purpose of the seminar as laid out by Dr. Fr Thomas C Mathew - Vice-Chancellor. in his opening address, Fr VC incorporated a small narrative about the initiative of Leadership Chair and informed that Praveen Kenneth is an alumnus of CHRIST and the Donor of Leadership Chair. He then elaborated on how Praveen Kenneth’s ideas and University’s ideas collaborated and the Chair on Leadership was started as a joint initiative.
Mr. Anand Pillai’s session focused on “Developing Escape Velocity through Leadership Agility”. He structured the session in such a way to elaborate on the important concepts of leadership by adding personal stories, stories of other leaders, and adding inspiring quotes related to these topics.
Mr. Jacob Isaac began his session explaining the concepts of a performer v/s critic, and then moving to give a brief introduction to all the DISC personality styles and the characteristics of the same. He laid a platform for participants to understand their styles of personality, their strengths, challenges, dislikes; and how they would make decisions based on their personality style. He concluded by giving time for the participants to develop their action plans based on their reports, which they could use to work on three areas of growth such as Leadership goals, Behavioral goals, Current focus goals based on their roles.
Mr. Sanjay covered the topic of leadership and strategy and various aspects such as qualities of leader, famous leaders, and different types of leadership (Domain, internal, and individual) styles. He briefed on thought leadership and gave examples of different companies and educational institutions and their strategies and how it made a phenomenal impact on the leaders in their areas of specializations. He asked soul searching questions as to what makes it a necessity for a leader to develop strategies and how to go about it.
Syed Sultan's session was about what to expect from the millennial generation as key stakeholders within the University. He talked about the need to monitor and modify our systems and ways of delivering education; to cater to the current needs of the generation. He showed a few examples through the use of films so that the participants could understand, and get clarity of the issues of his films. He concluded by giving some time for discussions among the participants.
Ullhas Supatkar focused his session on Diversity and communication. He gave a case study and drew the participants of the seminar to draw their insights about the intricacies of communication. He also gave a brief on the aspects of leadership from John C Maxwell’s book ‘21 Irrefutable Laws Of Leadership’.
