The CUBYC-SPO National Level Tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus. The tournament brings together men and women student-athletes from universities and colleges across India to compete in Football, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis, Yoga, and Chess. The event aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and a spirit of healthy competition while providing a platform for participants to showcase their talent and represent their institutions at the national level.

The Tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus.
All participants must be bonafide students and provide a valid College ID and Bonafide Certificate during registration.
Participants must report to the venue at least 60 minutes before the scheduled event.
Teams failing to report on time may forfeit the match (walkover).
Fixtures and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
Decisions of the Referees, Umpires, Judges, and Technical Officials shall be final.
Participants shall maintain discipline, sportsmanship, and respect towards officials, opponents, and volunteers.
Misconduct, abusive behaviour, cheating, impersonation, or damage to property may result in disqualification.
Proper sports uniform and required equipment must be worn during competition.
Only accredited players, coaches, managers, and officials are permitted in the competition area.
The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or loss of personal belongings.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend or interpret these rules whenever necessary.
Age Eligibility: The participant must be below 25 years of age as on 1 July 2026. Participants born on or after 01 July 2001 are eligible.
The team should be accompanied by the Coach and a Physical Education Faculty member.
No changes will be allowed once the registration form is submitted.
The organizers’ decision regarding fixtures, schedules, venues, timings, and rules shall be final and binding.

Team: Maximum 12 players.
Format: Knockout.
Match Duration: 4 × 10-minute quarters.
Interval: 2 minutes between quarters and 5 minutes at half-time.
Non-marking shoes are compulsory.
Referee's decision is final.

Women: 11 Players + 7 Substitutes
Players must wear jersey, shorts, stockings, shin guards, and football boots.
Substitution Rules: A maximum of 5 substitutions are allowed per match, permitted across a maximum of 3 substitution windows (excluding halftime).
Yellow Cards: Yellow cards do not carry forward to subsequent matches.
Red Cards: Any player receiving a red card (direct or indirect) will automatically miss the next match.

Format: Knockout.
No substitutions allowed.

Semi-Finals & Final: Match Format – Best of 3 Sets

Player Numbers on Jerseys must be clearly numbered 1 and 2.

Format: Knockout Team Championship.
One Men's Team and One Women's Team per institution.
Team: 3–6 players.
Team Tie: Best of 5 matches.
Individual Match: Best of 5 games.
Game: 11 points (win by 2 points).

Venue Ground Rule (Ceiling Clearance): Due to the venue's 10-foot ceiling height, any ball that touches the ceiling, lights, or overhead structures during play is immediately out of bounds. The point will be awarded to the opposing player.
Rules: Latest FIDE & AICF Rules.
Format: 9-Round Swiss League.
Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 second’s increments.
Default Time: 10 minutes.
Electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
Tie-breaks shall follow FIDE regulations.

Categories: Senior Men & Women.
Categories: Senior Men & Women – Undergraduate (UG) & Postgraduate (PG).
Competition Format: Individual Traditional Yogasana – Part A (Compulsory Asanas) & Part B (Optional Asanas).
Part A – Compulsory: Surya Namaskar (12 counts) + Paschimottanasana, Sarvangasana, Purna Dhanurasana, Karna Pidasana, Garudasana.
Part B – Optional: Choose any 4 asanas of the player’s choice.
Scoring: Surya Namaskar – 10 marks, Compulsory Asanas – 50 marks, Optional Asanas – 40 marks (Total: 100).
Judging Criteria: Flexibility, balance, stability, posture, and presentation.
Proper sports attire is compulsory.
Participants must carry College ID and Bonafide Certificate.
Judges' decision is final.
Only bonafide full-time students are eligible.
A valid College ID and Bonafide Certificate are mandatory.
Participants may compete only for their own institution.
Any participant found using false documents or impersonating another person shall be disqualified.
First-aid and basic medical assistance will be available at the venue.
Participants compete at their own risk.
The Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings.
Football, Basketball, A maximum of one team per institution is permitted in each category (Men/Women).
Chess, Beach Volleyball, and Yoga: Multiple entries from the same institution are permitted. There is no limit on the number of teams an institution may register.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the tournament format based on the number of entries received.
Automated Slot Closure: Registrations for each sport category will close automatically on the payment portal as soon as the organizers' maximum team/participant limit is reached.
No Manual Overrides: Once the system locks the category, no further online entries or payment attempts will be accepted.
