BAND
Band is an experience to learn an instrument, collaborate with a group, prepare for high school music opportunities, and find community with your peers.
We learn music from a variety of genres and styles. Full attendance is needed to grow musically, perform skillfully, and build community.
Band Fee: $75 (Covers the cost for music and spring t-shirt)
Any child who participates in Band is assessed the fee, including 6-8 Elective Period, due to additional material costs.

Concert Band (6-8 grades)
Meets on Tuesday during the Elective period.
Christmas and Spring Concert
This ensemble performs at special occasions and Diocesan events from time to time.
Optional Spring Field trip (additional fee)
Optional but recommended, additional rehearsal time
Tuesday dismiss at 3:30 PM by the Cafeteria Doors in the rear of the school.
Students will sign up for Band through the elective selection process during the first week of school.
Students are responsible for obtaining their own instrument. We use the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Bell Set, and additional Percussion by permission only.
It is recommended that students take lessons outside of the school prior and during participation of the ensembles for their benefit.
