Ministries

We have come to know Jesus as the One who came to lovingly serve us by giving his life for us. He is in the process of teaching how to love him and one another by ministering (serving). God says in Ephesians that "We are God's workmanship created to do good deeds which He has prepared in advance for us to do." When we are serving as God designed us, then we are discovering how rich a well-lived life can be and we rejoice in being able to bring even more recognition to Him. We are learning that volunteering not only affects those we serve, it can also be a life-changing experience for us! We invite you to experience our great adventure with us!

Children and Youth Ministry

Sunday School

Jesus said, "Let the little children come unto me... (Mathew 19:14) Christian education is a priority at Christ. Our Sunday School is for kids ages 3 through 8th grade. Our teachers, volunteers from the congregation, are dedicated to the children and are well-equipped to teach them from God's Word. They meet together regularly, with the pastor, to hone their skills and grow deeper in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible, so that they can better teach the children in their classes.

On any given Sunday, you will find the children learning Bible stories, memorizing Bible verses, singing songs, making crafts and more. We welcome you to come sit in on a lesson and see how Jesus works faith in the hearts of his little lambs.

Catechism Training

Designed to serve 7th and 8th graders, our Pastor conducts special weekly lessons, working together with the children and parents to teach the main doctrines of the Lutheranism in a more thorough study of the Bible. This age-old tradition enables us all to leave a richer legacy of faith to our children.

Family Counseling

God's Word, the Bible, has much to enrich our lives with his truth. Sometimes, however, it is difficult to know how best to apply it, especially in difficult personal or family situations. All of us experience those kinds of situations. It's a wonderful thing to have the wise counsel of a pastor who has been trained to help others work through problems with God's help.

Missions and Community Outreach

Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS)

Twice a year, those ladies who are especially interested in missions and missionaries in our country and around the world who are devoting their lives to sharing Jesus with those who haven't heard of him before, gather together on a Saturday in one of our district churches. It is exciting to hear the stories our dedicated missionaries have to tell about their work and the people they serve and to support them. If you would like participate in such an event, contact Ali Bradley at office@christlutheran.net. Click here to visit the LWMS web page: Lutheran Women's Missionary Society.

World Wide Mission Support

We are aware that there are millions who do not yet know the wonder of God's love in Jesus. We are doing as much as we can in our local area, but realize that we cannot cover the rest of the world by ourselves. So we eagerly and substantially support missionaries and mission congregations throughout North America and the entire world. In order to do this efficiently, we have joined with more than 1200 other congregations in the WELS, a church body that is dedicated to doing all it can to bring Jesus to our world. Mission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MDHH)

Christ Lutheran Church is working together with the WELS Mission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in order to reach out to those with a hearing loss with the saving message of Jesus Christ.
