It all started with a dream!

One morning years ago, Lynn awoke from a vivid dream about a European village where she was embedded, known, and a vital part of community life. She was so attached to the people there that waking up was one of the saddest moments she ever experienced! But, she had never been to Europe and didn’t even have a passport!

After sharing her dream with Craig, they both began to imagine and prepare for mission and service in one of the most secular, post-religious continents in the world…as their retirement plan. Yet the dream’s hold on them grew and grew until, in May 2024, Craig ended his 30+ career as a local church pastor so that he and Lynn could become full-time mission workers with Communitas International, serving on the leadership team for Launch Scotland.

Craig brings his passion and experience for church planting, church revitalization, and leadership development to the team, offering pastoral care and coaching, supervising strategic planning, program development and recruiting. Lynn serves on the leadership team and supervises the training program’s Soul Care component. She is currently working through a 2-year certification in spiritual leadership formation through Leadership Transformations.

Craig & Lynn are currently serving remotely while living in Asheville, North Carolina, but have obtained a UK work visa to join Launch Scotland in person this summer.

They have two grown children living in Orlando, FL and Chicago, IL. On free days you can find Craig playing golf and Lynn gardening or taking photos. Together they enjoy hiking and exploring their surroundings.
