Indian Hills NTI
WHAt will NTI Look Like?
2020-2021 School Year NTI
A type of instruction utilized by a group, school, or district when necessary (ex. Inclement weather or widespread illness) as a means to provide instruction so that make-up days are not added to the calendar.
At any point in the year, any or all CCPS students may be asked to participate in NTI.
All CCPS teachers will teach in their school buildings during NTI days.
For periods of NTI, students will be tasked with reviewing previously learned material as well as new material.
Grading requirements will be consistent with regular face-to-face instructional practice.
All students will have two separate classrooms to complete assignments (Specials & Grade Level)
Student Expectations
Student Participation and Attendance

Student Expectations
Students are required to:
Check in on a daily basis through the Attendance Tab

Technology
It is a moral imperative that we ensure that students have internet access to receive instruction, complete assignments, and take assessments. CCPS has worked diligently to level the playing field for students to have access to technology and the internet.
In regard to computers, students have three options:
Use own personal device.
Students who do not have a personal device for NTI may check out a device from the school with a parent/guardian signing for responsibility for the device.
Make appointments to use the school's Computer Lab. Anyone entering the school building must wear a mask and social distance.
In regards to internet access, much work has been done throughout the community to provide internet access points for students to use. Outdoor wi-fi access points have been added to every CCPS owned building (16 sites) and 14 cell data sites at volunteer fire stations (30 sites) around the county. The district is working with community partners and HES to boost signal strength on community wi-fi locations.
