• ALL - School Pupil Photo Consent - Our school photographer will be attending on Thursday, 25th September, for Greenbank and Friday, 26th September, for Rooksdown to take individual pupil photos. As part of GDPR guidelines, we require Photo Consent for every child. Please log into Arbor following instructions in the link below on how to update consents, we kindly ask this is updated by Monday 22nd September. Unfortunately, if this consent is not provided by this date, your child will not be permitted to have their photo taken.

• ALL - Flu Immunisations Years R-6 - your child’s annual Nasal Flu Vaccination is now due. The vaccine helps protect against flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness. Click the link below to access the electronic form and learn more about the vaccine. You will need to input the School Code below to complete the form. Access to the form will close two working days before the session.

The nasal flu vaccine contains products derived from pigs (porcine gelatine). To opt for the porcine gelatine-free inactive flu injection, select NO to the nasal flu immunisation, and you will be given further options. More information for parents is available from www.nhs.uk/child-flu. Alternatively, if you decide you do not wish your child to receive the vaccine against flu, please complete the form to record your decision. This will enable us to update your child’s immunisation record.

• ALL - Harvest Foodbank Letter - the Harvest Festival assembly will be held on Monday, 20th October. Again this year, we will be asking for Foodbank donations. Please take a look at the letter for the suggested list of non-perishable items. Thank you. - Harvest Foodbank Letter

• PRESCHOOL & YEAR 2 - Starting School in 2026? - HCC Admissions Team starting school information is a reminder for families who may have younger siblings due to start school in September 2026 (for those children born between 01 September 2021 and 31 August 2022).    Applications open: Saturday 1 November 2025 and close: Thursday 15 January 2026 

• KS1 & KS2 - Parent Partnership Letter - these parent talks will be held at both schools on Thursday, 25th September. The letter can be found here - Parent Partnership Talk Letter

• YEAR 3 - Dyslexia Letter & Google Form - This assessment, known as the Dyslexia Early Screening Test (DEST-2), will be used in conjunction with other baseline assessments typically administered at the beginning of Year 3 for all pupils. Please complete the Google Forms by Friday, 26th September (site-specific), found within this letter - Year 3 Dyslexia Permission Screening Letter

• YEAR 6 - Bikeability Letter & Google Form - please find all the information regarding the Greenbank and Rooksdown Bikeability Letters here - Year 6 Bikeability Letters (GB & RD) and ask that you complete the relevant Google Form by Monday, 22nd September.

• YEAR 6 - Year Book & Hoodie consent - For your child to order a 2026 Leaver's Hoodie and Year Book we must ask for consent from parents. For us to obtain this information please complete this Google Form - https://forms.gle/pSEFBsH7GKvypuP28

• YEAR 6 - Year 7 applications for children transferring to secondary school in September 2026 are also now open. Applications can be submitted online, or parents/carers can request a form by emailing admissions.team@hants.gov.uk.  The deadline for applications is 31 October 2025. • EMTAS Coffee Mornings - Castle Hill invites Year R parents at Rooksdown on 25th September @ 9am, who speak English as an additional language, to a coffee morning. (See poster below). Please complete this Google form if you wish to attend: Rooksdown Attendance Form

• Wellington Boots wanted! We are looking for donations of welly boots size 12 or above (ages 7 - 11) to be used for our outdoor learning. We ask that they be handed to the class teachers. Thank you.
