Year 5 Both Sites - Stubbington Residential interest letter. If you would like to read the letter about the 2026 residential at Stubbington, you can visit - Year Group Letters. Deposits need to be paid by 11th January 2026.
Year 6 Both Sites - Please click on the link to read the Year 6 SATs Booster/Parent Talk letter for 2026 - https://www.castlehillprimary.net/communications/year-group-letters. Year 6 Rooksdown - The school nursing team are due in on Wednesday 17th December (Rooksdown) for height and weight measurements. Should you not wish for your child to be measured, please use the information in the letter to opt out - Year Group Letters
House Day is next week, and the children will participate, focusing on our 4Cs. The children will take part in different activities linked to Compassion, Confidence, Creativity and Collaboration. The children will also take part in 'The Daily Mile Santa Dash', so please remember your Christmas jumper, Christmas hats and trainers (optional).

Christmas Jumpers - If you have any children's Christmas jumpers you would like to donate to the school, we would really appreciate them! Please hand it into the school office. Thank you
Christmas Headwear - Following an incident at school in which a child was injured, we would like to ask for your support in making sure your child's Christmas headwear for the general school day is safe. For this reason, please make sure that any headbands or accessories are soft and do not have sequins, bells, hard plastic, metal, or sharp decorations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep every child safe during the school day.
Fraser Portraits has asked us to communicate to parents that there is still time to order their school photos for Christmas delivery. Please email them directly at sales@fraserportraits.com, the deadline date is Monday 15th December.
Christmas Lunch & Christmas Jumper Days will be on Wednesday 17th December (Greenbank) and Thursday 18th December (Rooksdown).
Mufti-day is on the last day of term, Friday 19th December! Donations of £1 would be very much appreciated as every penny goes towards the Hardship Fund and school resources. This can be paid via Scopay or in cash on the day (hand it to the teacher).
Doughnut sales after school have now finished for 2025! Thank you for all your support in raising funds for the school.

Parking reminder - Please do not park in the Community Centre next door. This applies to school drop-off and pickup as well as to events happening outside of the school day. We received another complaint from Blossoms this week, when their staff were blocked in and unable to use their cars at the end of their shift. Thank you for your cooperation.

ACE Kids Christmas holiday camps - ACE Kids will not be running the holiday camp at CHPS Rooksdown this Christmas holiday. Is your child interested in learning the guitar or ukulele at school? Please see the following information and get in touch with Adrian Maycock if you would like to request a space for January 2026 onwards. Adrian provides high-quality, enjoyable and affordable guitar and ukulele lessons in local primary schools. Children can learn to play a variety of music, including pop and rock songs, theme tunes, and songs such as ‘Steve’s Lava Chicken’ or ‘Golden’. Lessons are taught in small groups (4-5 children per group on average) for 20 minutes. The cost of a full term is £80.
