ALL - If your child DID NOT receive a flu immunisation at school on 14th October, please click on the link below to submit a form. You will then be invited to a community clinic. Link to website: Annual Nasal Flu Vaccination Programme - Hampshire - Parents: Health for Kids
The nasal flu vaccine contains products derived from pigs (porcine gelatine). To opt for the porcine gelatine-free inactive flu injection, select NO to the nasal flu immunisation, and you will be given further options. More information for parents is available from www.nhs.uk/child-flu.
ALL - New Autumn 2 Menu can be found here - School Meal Menus. The jacket potato and pasta menu will replace the picnic option. Please remember to order your child's lunch by midnight the day before; if not, you will need to provide a packed lunch from home.
ALL - Walktober Let's Get Moving & Competition. We will be participating in Walktober 2025, a month-long challenge celebrating International Walk to School Month. It encourages everyone to take part, whether that’s walking, wheeling with a wheelchair or mobility aid, cycling, scooting, using Park and Stride, or taking public transport. Every active or sustainable journey makes a positive difference! Pupils can also take part in the “My Walktober Journey” competition by sharing the story of their active or sustainable journey. To find out more, visit - Whole School Letters
ALL - Harvest Foodbank Letter - The Harvest Festival assembly will be held on Monday, 20th October. Again this year, we will be asking for Foodbank donations. Please take a look at the letter for the suggested list of non-perishable items. Thank you. - Harvest Foodbank Letter
ALL - Odd Sock Day for Anti-Bullying Week. This year, we will be taking part in Odd Sock Day as part of Anti-Bullying Week on Friday, 14th November. The children are invited to wear their crazy, odd socks to raise awareness of bullying in schools. Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique! Please note that the children will still be wearing their full school uniform, with a fun addition of odd socks.
ALL GREENBANK - The GB School Disco (see poster below) will be held on Thursday, 13th November, and ticket sales are now open! For more information and to find out how to book, visit - Greenbank Letters

Year 6 PARENTS - Due to a change in how Bikeability is being run this year, they have requested we provide parents' email addresses so that pupils can be issued with a certificate and that the training can be logged. In accordance with the UK GDPR, we need your consent before sharing your personal information. Please complete this Google form by Tuesday, 21st October - https://forms.gle/Nvpxc547xYZaUjMC6
Please note that:
Your email address will only be shared for the stated purpose above
It will not be used for marketing or shared with any third parties without further consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time.
School photographs - Last reminder to order photos by the end of TODAY for free delivery to the school.
Parental Information Updates - Please make sure you regularly review the information held within Arbor to make sure that contact details etc., are up to date. The contact details we have must be correct so we can contact parents when necessary.
Parents Evening - If you haven't yet booked your slot, please log in to Arbor where you can do so. Please get in touch if you are having any problems with this.
Cough sweets - These are not prescribed medicines and are not allowed at school. Please do not send your child in with them; they are a choking hazard, and we are unable to monitor how many a child might be having. If your child has a sore throat, they will be able to sip water if needed. If you have a unique situation, then please let the office know.
Grapes in packed lunches - Please remember that uncut grapes pose a significant choking hazard in children because their size and shape can completely block a small airway, and their smooth, firm skin makes them difficult to dislodge with first aid. Due to these risks, children under the age of five should always have grapes cut lengthwise, ideally into quarters. Even older children may benefit from having their grapes cut into smaller pieces to ensure safety.
YEAR 3 - Our Year 3 PE days will change to Mondays and Tuesdays starting Monday, 20th October. Children should continue to wear their PE kit to school on these days. As a result, there will be no Forest School on Monday for Mrs Buckingham's class. Forest School sessions will resume after Christmas in Spring 1 term.
YEAR 6 - Due to the WW2 workshop, for next week only, Year 6 PE days will be Wednesday and Thursday. For more information read the Year 6 letter here - PE Change letter
