Q: I called the main office of my child’s school, no one answered, and I left a message? How will someone get back to me?

A: Each main office voicemail is currently forwarded directly to the principal’s email, someone will get back to you within 24 hours.

Q: My child’s school issued iPad or Chromebook is not functioning properly, can I get a new

A: Yes, please e-mail the Director of Technology, Mr. Paul Leonardi, (pleonardi@chittenangoschools.org) or your child’s principal and a
replacement will be issued to you with the return of the originally issued device.

Q: I originally indicated that my family did not need a District provided electronic device, or that we only needed one, but I would like to request one (or more). Can we do this?

A: Yes, please e-mail the Director of Technology, Mr. Paul Leonardi, (pleonardi@chittenangoschools.org) or your child’s principal and
device(s) will be issued to you.

Q: The homework being completed by my child(ren), how will this be graded or collected?

A: Your child’s individual teacher will guide you on the completion and submission of course work.


Q. My child is having trouble finding his assignments online?

A. Your child's individual teacher will guide you on how to access assignments.


Q. I need assistance in how to incorporate therapies into my child's day.

A. Contact your child's individual therapist for guidance on how to incorporate the activities they have sent home into your child's
instructional day.


Q. My child is having difficulty adjusting to a new schedule and see anxious about what is happening currently:

A. Please reach out to your child's school counselor if your child is experiencing anxiety with school work, distant learning or adjusting to
their current schedule.

Below are some questions and answers about what this building closure means for our schools.



Q. Can I get personal belongings from my child’s school?

A. All district buildings will be closed until further notice. Please contact your child’s school principal to make arrangements to pick up any
items you need from school as we may be able to accommodate your request.

Q. Are meals available for my children during this closure?

A: Breakfast and lunch will be available for pick up at each building (CHS/CMS/BRE/BE) or by way of delivery. Both meals will be picked
up or delivered at the same time, avoiding repeat trips. Meals will NOT be served on weekends. Meals are available to ALL children 18
years of age and under.
