Lindsey Schroder is in her fifthteenth year of teaching elementary music and middle school choir, and her tenth year with Chisholm Public Schools.


She received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, and has completed her National Kodály Certification at the University of Oklahoma, where she now interns during the summer course trainings to eventually lead the Musicianship and Conducting workshops. She is also projected to complete her Master's of Music Education with Kodaly Emphasis at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in May 2023!


Mrs. Schroder was named as the 2013 OkMEA Young Music Educator and the 2015 District Teacher of the Year for Chisholm Public Schools, leading to the OSDE Rising Star Award Recipient.


She has served as the Elementary Vice President of the Oklahoma Music Educators Association, currently serving as the All-State Children's Chorus Chair and the Southwest Division Representative for the NAfME General Music Council. She is a Past-President of the Oklahoma Kodaly Educators and Secretary for the Southern Division of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators, as well as the 2024 OAKE National Conference Chair. Recently, she served on the Oklahoma State Dept. of Education’s Fine Arts Advisory and Standards Steering Committees, along with various committees within our school and district, including House Coordinator.


Mrs. Schroder enjoys her time as a festival clinician and presenter throughout the state. She lives with her supportive husband, Tyler, and two little showmen.
