Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am excited to be your child’s 4th Grade teacher! I look forward to getting to know each child in the days ahead. This is a year of great learning and growth. As parents of fourth graders, I hope you enjoy watching and helping foster that growth in your child.
Bluestreak Pride: We have implemented the Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) to foster a positive school-wide environment and to clearly communicate behavioral expectations. Students will receive positive reinforcement through the use of Bluestreak Pride tickets, which are awarded when teachers or other school staff observe appropriate and exemplary behavior. Throughout daily instruction, students will learn what it means to demonstrate Bluestreak Pride through explicit teaching, modeling, and practice across all areas of the school, including classrooms, buses, and the playground. Each month, students will have the opportunity to visit the Bluestreak Pride Store to exchange their earned tickets for various rewards.
