Real Care Baby
During the semester each health student will be expected to take home the real care baby for one weekend of their choice. The students will be expected to care for the baby from 5pm Friday night to 10pm Sunday night on the weekend they take the baby home. The real care baby infant simulator will require the participant to be the sole caretaker of the real care baby infant simulator, whose sounds and behaviors replicate those of an infant. The experience is intended to demonstrate the participant the full-time commitment required of the caregiver of a new infant. The students will be graded based on how well they take care of the baby and how well they complete the paperwork that goes with the assignment.
