This ELECTIVE course for grades 11-12 is a fast-paced introduction into the topics and practices that students will encounter in an introductory Human Anatomy & Physiology course at the college level. This course explores the vital human body systems responsible for transporting substances throughout the human body to maintain health. The focus of this course will be the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive and urinary systems. This course will include traditional and independent learning, laboratory activities and the use of the state-of-the-art Anatomage Table to view and virtually dissect structures in real human cadavers. This course is highly recommended for students planning on entering the medical field and would also be beneficial for students who are interested in athletic training, general health topics and personal well-being. This course can be taken before or after Human Anatomy & Physiology: Body in Motion. This class will be offered for the first time in 2026-2027.
