About Me

¡Hola! I am Señora Oplinger and I teach Spanish 2 and 5 (AP). I have been teaching at Chi-Hi for 16 years. Prior to working here, I taught in Bloomer for 10 years. Teaching in Chippewa is a rewarding job. I work in an amazing school with the best students. In addition, my department co-workers are some of my best friends. We continually collaborate to strengthen our CI roots to make sure that our students acquire language naturally and can use their skills to be communicative. 

When I am not at school, I can be found spending time with my family. My husband, Mike, and I have two daughters, Elsa (21) and Ila (19). We enjoy traveling, camping, live music and watching movies. I also love cooking and baking, running, and being on the rivers in a kayak, boat, or tube.
