Mrs. Hanson's Life Science
Welcome!
Welcome to Mrs. Hanson's life science class. Science is everywhere and everyone can and should be a scientist. This year, we are going to have the opportunity to explore the living world through topics such as cells, cell processes, body systems, microscopic organisms, natural selection, and genetics. Students will participate in class discussions, design and partake in labs, research topics to extend understanding, and present findings to peers. I believe all my students are on their way to becoming amazing scientists. Asking questions, making observations, experimenting to find answers, and analyzing information are all important qualities scientists and my students have in common.
I teach 8th grade life science and am a member of the Starfish Team. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any question or concerns you may have or to let me know if you are having any technical difficulties with this site. Email is often best as I cannot answer my phone when I have students in my classroom.
