Dual Credit Opportunities for 2024-2025

Dual Credits are options where students can recieve both a high school credit and a post secondary credit.  Students will be applying to the offering post secondary school, completing the post secondary class which may include applicable tuition feed.  When the course is completed, students can then recieve the equivalent high school credit for the course by submitting their final grade to student services.  

Student should see Student Services for more information on Dual Credits to make sure they are set up accordingly. 

Available Courses for the 2024-2025

University of Saskatchewan 

Edwards School of Business

Introduction to Business 30 - (high school course equivalent - Business 30L)

Fall Term Registration Deadline:  June 30th   Course runs September - December 

Winter Term Registration Deadline: December 1st:    Course runs January - April 

Tuition is the responsibility of the student to pay to the U of S.

Business Realted Courses 

Fall 2024 - ACCT 122 Introduction to Financial Accounting (Equivelent High school creditAccounting 10 Credit)

Fall 2024 - FIN 100 Personal Finace (Equivelent High school creditFinancial Literacy 20)

Winter 2025 - BUS 104 Introduction to Business ( Equivelent High school credit - Entreprenuership 20)

Winter 2025 - MGMT 108 Intorduction to Sport Management (Equivalent high school credit - Introduction to Sport Management (DC) 30L)

Early Childhood Education Dual Credit Level 1 for High School Students

Three Courses have been offerred in the past 

HUMD 183 - Child Guidance (Equivalent high school credit - Child Guidance 1 30L)

ECE 106 - Role of Play in Early Childhood Education (Equivalent high school credit - Psychology 30)

ECE 142 - Health, Safety, and Nutrition (Equivalent high school credit - Health, Safety and Nutrition 30L)

If interested in taking one of the above ECE courses, complet the Dual Credit Interest List form.
